Rhode Island has thousands of condominium units spread across hundreds of associations, and almost none of that information lives anywhere a buyer, owner, Realtor or lender can reach it. RI Condo Living exists to change that.
The problem
Condo information is fragmented. Fees live in an old listing sheet. Rules live in a recorded document nobody has read. The management company changed two years ago. The special assessment is common knowledge to owners and invisible to buyers. Every transaction re-discovers the same facts from scratch.
The approach
The platform is architected statewide from day one — states, municipalities, communities, associations, management companies, buildings, documents, rules, fees and listings are all separate, related records. That means a new municipality can be turned on without redesigning anything.
Data collection, however, is deliberately local. North Providence is the pilot market: every community template, document type and verification workflow is proven there before the model is repeated across Rhode Island.
Verified vs. unverified
Nothing here pretends to be more certain than it is. Records carry a verification status and, where available, a source and a verification date. Unverified information is labeled as such. Sample and demo records used while building the platform are labeled too, so they are never mistaken for real association data.
Who maintains it
RI Condo Living is published by Dawn Marano, REALTOR®, a Rhode Island condominium specialist, and is maintained with contributions from association boards, property managers, Realtors and owners. Contributions are reviewed by an administrator before they are published.
